In order to respond to the Lord, it will pull you away from the people and things that make you comfortable.
As long as you maintain comfort, you will not be able to realize the goals and the life that God has promised you. How long have you been waiting for your promise? We live in a culture where patience isn’t encouraged; we prefer to have things instantly, but we serve a God that keeps His promises, no matter how long it takes.
How many times has the Lord promised you something that you received at the very moment you needed it? How many times have you responded to your blessing with “Won’t He do it!?”? We need not forget all the times that God has blessed us, and have faith that He will do it again – because He is the same God today that He was yesterday.
Living by faith isn’t easy. But it is possible.
